As long as capital keeps chasing the same names and the same sector, it’s hard to see any real strength elsewhere.
And that’s precisely why crypto seems so sluggish, heavy and lacking in momentum.
You might see the odd pump or an interesting breakout… but without real volume, it all lasts very briefly and the market immediately reverts to the usual noisy choppiness.
There’s a lack of participation, a lack of speculative appetite and, above all, a lack of capital rotation towards markets other than US tech.
It’s no coincidence that many altcoins seem to come to life for a few hours and then fizzle out immediately, whilst even many quality stocks outside the AI/tech sector are still suffering considerably. If volume and a bit of interest return, we’ll see some really aggressive upward moves.
Until this situation changes, I think we’ll continue to see a slow, manipulable market full of fake moves.
That’s why, at this stage, patience matters far more than aggression: make clean trades and don’t get swept up in the emotional noise of the day-to-day..
