I don’t really focus on news to build my trading plan. I’ve grown much more from the technical side and from experience than from following news or macro events.
In my opinion, a lot of news and even fake news just distract people from what really matters, which is the price and the structure itself.
From my experience, the bigger players often want people to look at everything except the chart, because that creates confusion and emotional decisions.
I’ve had many situations where I planned trades months in advance, and only later some news came out that “explained” the move. For me that was always the moment where I realized my analysis was already there before.
So I stay focused on technical analysis, structure, and reactions, because price always shows you the truth first.
